I am totally a skincare addict person. I love watching other bloggers for their skincare products review, demonstrations and showcasing what type of brands they use. I have been watching others for years now I thought if I could write and share something about what I use would be great. I hopefully from here I can get to meet more like mind people and discuss about the products that we love.
So firstly in order to know what is good to your skin, we should know what is our skintype and concerns right. Yes, researching for a product before buying it is crucial step, especially for expensive skincare product, but it's also important to keep in mind that some products are good for some people but not others. It's always smart to purchase a sample size to use first in my opinion to see what suits you best.
Alright, let go into the main topic today, sharing my skincare routine and what I think about these products :)
My skin type: combination oily
Skin concerns: I have acnes occasionally, especially in the summer time when my skin get extremely oily and hence acnes :(
I am now using the Shiseido White Lucent line.
Overall product line thought: I am giving this 3.5 stars. Hm...I am not so crazy about this line. I used The Skincare line previously- which is a Basic skincare line of Shiseido. For this WhiteLucent line, it claims to whitening the skin while hydrating it. However, I have noticed the whitening effect is very slow. I have been with this line for 1.5 years now and you will have to use with the Intensive Spot Target serum (come with this line) for 3-4 weeks in order to see very little of whitening effect. If you are not using it, then your skin basically is just being moisturized but not whitening.
This is what it looks like.
In comparison with the Paul & Joe Whitening Serum - which is having the most favourable reviews, I would prefer the Paul & Joe one. I see result within a week and the result is obvious, it lightens my skin for about 2 shades lighter, which I consider as very effective.

Back to the WhiteLucent, the moisturizer of the line is an average moisturier.

The WhiteLucent Brightening Balancing softener is again an average performance. It hydrates your skin after cleansing but does nothing more than that - I mean it is just ok, why would you pay for such higher price product while you can purchase one Japanese/ Taiwanese softener products, cheaper price with same function right?!

And because my skin is acnes prone, I will use Proactiv repairing lotion after the moisturizer to prevent acnes in my morning routine,

In some days, my skin got some dry patches near the bridge of the nose and check area, I would use Shiseido Bio-performance cream to add the extra moisture, I have to say this stuff is good to calm and hydrate the skin very well.

So to conclude today post, I would say I haven't found my perfect skincare yet, I am not 100% LOVE my skincare products atm, but not really disappointing. I am still on my way of looking for better alternative.
I read some good and bad reviews about Lancome Hydra zen, I really want to dry them until I finish my Shiseido ones.
